Many of our supporters have found success raising donations through Facebook and Instagram.  It’s easy to do and a GREAT way to spread awareness to your friends and family while raising important fundraising dollars in support of Ascend Justice’s mission.

Create a Facebook Fundraiser for Ascend Justice by following these steps:

1. Click Fundraisers in the left menu of your News Feed. You may need to click See More to find this.
2. Click + Raise Money on the left menu and select Nonprofit as your fundraiser type.
3. Search for Ascend Justice and a preview of your fundraiser page will show.
4. Using the menu on the left side select how much you would like to raise, when your fundraiser should end, the title of your fundraiser and tell people why you are raising money for Ascend Justice.
5. Click Create.

Create an Instagram Fundraiser using their Donate Sticker option

1. In Instagram, open the camera and take or upload a photo or use the create button to type out something.
2. Tap the sticker icon.
3. Select the donation sticker from the tray.
4. Search for Ascend Justice and select it as your charity.
5. Customize the sticker box and fundraiser using Stories’ creative tools.
6. Tap Send To in the bottom right corner. Then tap Share to the right of Your Story.

If your Facebook and Instagram accounts are linked, you can share your Instagram story to Facebook by clicking Edit Audience to expand your reach.

• Use our social media graphics, client stories, and posts to help tell the story of what the donations will help accomplish.
• Make sure to thank those who make a donation to your fundraiser by tagging or sending them a message.
• Monitor the donations and give updates as you get closer to your goal!
• Don’t be afraid to create multiple posts or stories for maximum exposure.
