Nicole P. v. DCFS Class Action
On June 4, 2018, the Circuit Court of Cook County in Illinois granted final approval of a settlement agreement between the Plaintiff Class and the Defendant Illinois Department of Children & Family Services (DCFS) in the class action lawsuit Nicole P. v. DCFS. Qualifying class members in this lawsuit were persons investigated or indicated by DCFS for child neglect under Allegation 74 (Inadequate Supervision) between February 24, 2012 and May 9, 2017. They were entitled to seek relief under the settlement agreement.
