Divorce & Parenting

We provide legal services at the Daley Center related to:

Divorce and division of shared assets

Parental responsibility, parenting time, and establishing parentage

Maintenance and child support

Our Family Law team helps survivors of gender-based violence file for divorce, seek allocation of parental responsibilities (formerly known as “custody”) or more parenting time with their kids, and seek financial relief like child support and maintenance (formerly known as “alimony”) for themselves and their children.

Our clients are survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence, trafficking, and/or stalking, and we help them navigate family legal matters with their abusers. We have helped people in lots of different situations get divorced, including people who are currently incarcerated, because we believe everyone deserves to live free from their abusers. We also help people work through hard questions of parenting when they share children with their abusers, including establishing parentage and modifying parenting plans and judgments after they’ve been entered.

If you think you might need our help with divorce or child custody/support, please fill out our intake form or call our team at 312.971.5932.
