We were met with gorgeous weather on Thursday, June 8, 2023, by our 220 amazing guests and supporters. On the awe-inspiring rooftop of the Old Post Office we celebrated, we were inspired, we shared stories, and we reflected on another impactful year where we served over 1,600 clients and we grew our staff by 60%!
Those in attendance were greeted by the night’s special MC, Mugo Odigwe (CBS 2 Chicago), as well as the 2023 Champion of Justice recipient, Ret. Judge Grace Guerra Dickler. We were so proud to have this year’s event sponsored by 46 dedicated industry leaders and supported by generous individuals like you.
We were thrilled to be surrounded by you, our friends, to thoughtfully look back on the past year filled with passion and hard work. We heard courageous stories from Krista and Marisol who were so brave to share their stories in hopes that they may encourage others just like them to find their strength to create their own path to safety.
With a grand total of over $207,000 raised that night to support the mission of Ascend Justice, we all had so much to celebrate!
