On a beautiful evening on June 9, 2022, over 200 people gathered on the rooftop of the Old Post Office to celebrate, be inspired, share stories, and reflect on an impactful year.
With a grand total of over $165,000 raised, we all had so much to celebrate!
We were proud to have this year’s event sponsored by dedicated industry leaders and supported by generous individuals like you. We were fortunate to have Natalie Pattillo and Kim Dadou Brown from the documentary And So I Stayed in attendance to talk about their journey and the impact the award-winning film has had on incarcerated survivors. We were excited to honor those who have made an impact in their field by presenting the Champion of Justice award to four deserving individuals – Kelly Garcia, Maya Dukmasova, Alison Carrizales, and Melissa Hernandez. We were thrilled to be surrounded by you, our friends, to thoughtfully look back on the past year filled with passion and hard work.
